Exciting news! The Philippine Center for Creative Imaging Inc. (PCCI) is currently offering scholarships for the TESDA Photography NC II program, providing free training and competency assessment to qualified individuals.

Scholarship Details:

Program Period: November – December 2023
Delivery Method: Blended Learning (Combining Online and Face-to-Face sessions)
Program Highlights:
The TESDA Photography NC II program covers essential aspects of photography, including:

Basic Photography Concepts: Grasping fundamental photography principles such as composition, exposure, and framing.
Camera Operation: Learning to utilize various cameras, including digital ones, and mastering camera settings and controls.
Image Editing: Acquiring basic skills in post-processing and image editing using tools like Adobe Photoshop.
Photography Genres: Exploring diverse genres like portrait, landscape, and event photography.
Lighting Techniques: Understanding natural and artificial lighting, and manipulating light for diverse effects.
Equipment Handling: Ensuring proper care, handling, and maintenance of photography equipment.
Safety Practices: Emphasizing safety in different photography environments, be it outdoor or studio setups.
Professionalism and Ethics: Developing a professional attitude and ethical practices in client and subject interactions.
Portfolio Development: Crafting a portfolio showcasing individual skills and capabilities as a photographer.
Upon completing the training, individuals undergo an assessment to gauge their acquired competencies. Successful candidates are awarded the TESDA National Certificate II in Photography.

Qualifications for the TESDA Photography NC II Scholarship:
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Priority given to those unable to pay regular program fees.
Unemployed or underemployed.
Completion of at least 10 years of basic education or an ALS certificate of completion with a grade 10 equivalent.
Not a beneficiary of other government educational scholarship and subsidy programs.
Filipino Citizen, at least 18 years old upon completion of training.
Availability to attend all classes within the given schedule.
Proficient in computer and camera operation skills.
Stable internet connection.

Photography Requirements for Blended Learning:

Digital SLR (DSLR) or Mirrorless Interchangeable-Lens Camera (MILC).
Computer and stable internet connection.
Access to a computer with Photoshop.

Documentary Requirements:
Applicants need to submit the following documents:

Duly accomplished Registration Form (MIS-03-01) with attached digital signature.
4 pcs Passport-size colored photos (white background, shirt with collar, complete name label).
4 pcs 1 x 1 ID pictures (white background, shirt with collar).
Photocopy of any valid government ID.
Photocopy of Birth Certificate.
Photocopy of Marriage Certificate (if applicable).
Signed Scholarship Agreement Form.
Duly accomplished Commitment of Undertaking.
Transcript of Record (TOR) / Form 137/138 or Diploma.
E Certificate (COVID-19 Preventive Measures).

Create an account using a working email.
Confirm the email and navigate to courses, choosing “Practicing COVID-19 Preventive Measures.”
